its a funny thing
how i could not bring this up orally to you
in the form of speech itself
because these kind of words
i have weaved them so delicately
almost poetic even
through the written hand
but once the human mouth speaks of it
it immediately becomes tainted
ugly
it twists its way in such a manner
that it turns out to be an alibi
for something that doesn't even exist
i created a sneaky little parasite
manifesting behind words that were once so truthful
maybe words take a life of their own when we speak
deciding their own fate
or our tongues are not physically able
to express such sense of emotion
they can only twist and turn so much
it comes out so wrong
